Japan will 'respond appropriately' to S. Korea's tougher inspection of its coal imports: Official

Yesterday, South Korea said it would start much tougher inspections of Japanese coal.
And today, Japan's Chief Cabinet Secretary, Yoshihide Suga, said Japan will, in his words, "respond appropriately" to those measures.
But, Suga declined to comment further due to lack of details on the stronger inspections.
A day earlier, South Korea announced it will start checking Japanese coal for radioactive materials and heavy metals, Japan being where South Korea gets 99 percent of its imported coal.
