A state judge in Pennsylvania has temporarily stopped the state from further certifying the presidential election results and all down-ballot races.
On Wednesday, local time, the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court issued the order
in response to a legal suit brought by state Republicans.
State officials appealed the order and said, "there is no conceivable justification for the lower court’s issuance of such an order in this case.”
This comes as the state of Pennsylvania already certified Joe Biden as the winner of the Presidential Election on Tuesday.
This case is separate from President Trump's federal lawsuits to undo Pennsylvania's certification.
