Among the G-20 countries, South Korea benchmark stock index has risen by the second highest percentage since the March crash.
The KOSPI is up over 64-point-4 percent,... putting it second only to Argentina, whose benchmark index rose over a hundred percent.
By comparison, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 48-point-8 percent.
As in the U.S.,... behind the rise has been an influx of money from individual investors, many of them new to the stock market, who are using trading apps for their smartphones.
They've been buying up online platforms like Naver and Kakao... as well as new industries like bio and secondary batteries.
