UK magazine ranks S. Korea 2nd for global soft power

The British magazine Monocle has ranked South Korea second in the world for soft power.
According to its recent edition "Soft power, Super Stars" on Friday, it highlighted South Korea's sensational hits in the film and music businesses, global brands such as Samsung, LG, and Hyundai, as well as the country's response to COVID-19.
However, the magazine also mentioned that Seoul has been facing difficulties in dealing with North Korea and freedom of speech.
The magazine ranked Germany in first place for soft power.
