S. Korea’s manufacturing business sentiment falls to record low for Q3: KCCI

Business sentiment among Korea's manufacturers for the third quarter... has fallen to the lowest level on record.
According to survey by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry... of some 24-hundred companies... found it had fallen to just 55 points 100 points being neutral.
That's the lowest since the global financial crisis of 2008... and two points lower than the second quarter.
The KCCI said businesses are worried about a second wave of the coronavirus hitting their exports and local demand alike.
The sentiment index was in the 40s... for carmakers, shipbuilders and parts manufacturers.
There was less pessimism in the sectors of precision medicine at 88 and pharmaceuticals at 79.
