Imports of Japanese ICT products to S. Korea down 11.4% y/y in H1 amid trade row

South Korea's imports of high-tech products from Japan is on a downtrend,... a trend that's expected to become even more pronounced amid Tokyo's export curbs.
Seoul's Ministry of Science and ICT said Tuesday that ICT imports from Japan were down eleven-point-four percent on-year in the first half of 2019 at just over 4-point-8-billion U.S. dollars.
The share of Japanese ICT imports was also down one-point-two percentage point from last year... when Japan had over ten percent of the South Korean market.
South Korea's exports of ICT products to Japan over the same period was roughly 2-billion U.S. dollars,… down eight-and-a-half percent on-year.
