A Cardiff night club has said it is absolutely heartbroken after a 21 year old woman died in the early hours of Saturday morning after attending an event at the club. The woman fell ill at the Vaults in Butetown, and paramedics and onsite medical staff attended to the woman but passed away shortly after.

Former Minister Glenys Kinnock has died after a 6 year battle with Alzheimer’s disease. The 79 year old was a former Labour Minster, Member of the European Parliament. The family say she was with her husband Neil Kinnock in her final hours, and will be remembered for her great passions of Europe, Africa and the UN.

Former UK health minister Matt Hancock has said devolving powers to the Welsh government during the covid pandemic were neither necessary nor logical, and would have preferred to see the UK government hold powers. The Welsh government have said they will not comment on ongoing proceedings.
