Teachers across Wales will go on strike on March 2nd after a pay offer from the Welsh government was rejected. A union leader said the offer of an additional 1.5% with a 1.5% one off payment was ‘simply not good enough, and failed to address cost of living issues, inflation and real terms cuts to teachers pay.

A man has been arrested in connection to the death of Tomasz Waga. Three men have already been jailed in relation to Waga’s death after an attempted cannabis factory robbery, with 31 year old Artan Palluci now in police custody. Another man, 22 year old Elidon Elezi, is still wanted for the crimes.

Cardiff has been crowned the ‘4th capital of gaming’ in the UK after research found the city to be one of the best in the country for gaming. It has the 2nd best gaming company-to-city population, and all three universities in the city have gaming or computer science degrees on offer.
