The Celtics did it again! The New York Knicks have acquired guard/forward Evan Fournier in a sign-and-trade with Boston, along with two future second round draft picks in exchange for cash considerations (110K). In the trade, the Celtics also created a $17.1 million trade exception. Last offseason, the Celtics created the largest TPE in history, at $28.5 million, in a sign-and-trade deal with Charlotte Hornets for Gordan Hayward. The Celtics ended up using that TPE to trade for Josh Richardson from the Mavericks, and ironically Evan Fournier during last NBA trade deadline.
