Another new COVID-19 strain has been found,... this time in Nigeria.
This comes after the UK and South Africa reported new variants of the virus that appear to be more contagious, leading to new travel restrictions.
According to Africa CDC, while it transmits quickly and viral loads are higher, it's unclear whether the variant leads to a more severe disease.
New strains have been found in other parts of the world, including Singapore.
Denmark has identified 33 infections with the new strain.
As a precautionary measure, more than 40 countries are suspending travel with the UK.
