U.S. President Donald Trump appears to be rushing to jump back on the election campaign trail after being sidelined by a COVID-19 infection.
In a recent interview, he revealed he is no longer taking medication to treat the virus.
One of Trump's aides said, "There are medical tests underway that will ensure when the president is back out, he will not be able to transmit the virus."
White House physician Sean Conley will release more details.
The commander-in-chief plans to first address supporters outdoors from a balcony at the White House on Saturday, then hold a rally in Florida two days later.
His administration faced criticism for their handling of the pandemic, lax quarantine measures in the White House, as well as giving confusing messages about the President's health condition.
