South Korea has been treating some coronavirus patients with the antivirual drug remdesivir, and so far, out of 106 of them, four have had abnormal reactions to the drug.
That's according to the Central Disease Control Headquarters Tuesday which said side effects include skin rashes and reduced liver function.
It noted that those treated with remdesivir are mostly the elderly with underlying diseases.
Further investigations are underway to determine exactly how effective the drug is.
Remdesivir was approved by South Korea as a Covid-19 treatment back in June.
