Thousands of South Korea's trainee doctors are going to return to work early Tuesday morning, having called off their strike for now.
That's according to the Korean Intern and Resident Association, whose members have been protesting for weeks against the government's plans to train thousands more doctors and open public medical schools.
They said they will strike again, however, if the government does not come up with a way for students refusing to take Tuesday's medical licensing exam to take it later.
More than 86 percent of students are reportedly boycotting the test.
