Japan evacuates over eight million people due to Typhoon Haishen

In Japan, Typhoon Haishen has forced up to eight million people to evacuate as it swept through the Kyushu region.
The typhoon has caused power outages in about 450-thousand homes there, and at least 32 casualties have been reported.
The storm has also prompted the suspension of public transport and bullet trains.
More than 300 flights to and from Kyushu and Okinawa have been suspended as well.
