Gyeonggi-do Province to provide aid to those impacted by COVID-19

Meanwhile, the province of Gyeonggi-do surrounding Seoul, will provide financial support to workers and small businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Governor Lee Jae-myung held a press briefing earlier this afternoon where he announced that the provincial government will provide roughly one-hundred-and-80 U.S. dollars to those in the province who went without income while waiting for COVID-19 test results.
Small businesses ordered to close will receive up to eight-hundred-20 dollars.
Payments will be made in the form of special vouchers only accepted within the province and applicants will only receive the aid if they followed quarantine measures.
