Turning to the African swine fever outbreak affecting the nation.
Another suspected case of the highly-contagious animal disease has been reported at a pig farm in Yangju, Gyeonggi-do Province.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Authorities said it received the report on Saturday.
It added emergency quarantine measures are being taken and movement in and out of the area is currently restricted.
If confirmed, it would be the tenth confirmed case of African swine fever in South Korea.
Yangju has seen numerous reports over the past week, but they all tested negative.
The nine confirmed cases so far are concentrated in the northern areas of Gyeonggi-do Province and in Incheon -- the latest case in the Ganghwa Island area.
Authorities have yet to identify exactly how the animal disease -- which is harmless to humans, but fatal to pigs -- entered South Korea.
