The part of the 2019 King Jeongjo's Royal Parade that takes place in Gyeonggi-do Province has been canceled... due to the African swine fever outbreak affecting the region.
The reenactment of the Joseon Dynasty parade was set to take place in parts of Suwon and Seoul over the weekend... but it now will only be carried out in Seoul on Saturday.
Also to prevent the spread of African swine fever, this year's Suwon Hwaseong Cultural Festival, which runs from Thursday through Sunday, has canceled its opening ceremony and all food booths.
