South Korea has confirmed its 14th case of African swine fever.
Agriculture ministry said on Wednesday that a suspected case at a pig farm in Yeoncheon county in Gyeonggi-do Province had tested positive.
It's the second confirmed case in Yeoncheon.
The ministry immediately dispatched quarantine personnel and controlled the movement of people and vehicles in the area.
A 48-hour standstill order has been also imposed in an effort to contain the animal disease from spreading.
Yeoncheon is one of six cities and counties in South Korea that have been newly designated as buffer zones in the push back against African swine fever.
