We start with the latest on the coronavirus figures in South Korea.
The country reported 40 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, …the largest daily number of new cases in 49 days.
Of them, 37 were community transmissions, …with 19 detected in Seoul and eleven in Incheon.
Three were imported.
The total number of cases is eleven-thousand-two-hundred-65.
There were no new deaths, …keeping the death toll at two-hundred-69.
Over 21-thousand people are being tested, …and 20 more have been discharged after making full recoveries.
More students returned to school on Wednesday in the second phase of re-openings.
One high school senior in Daegu has also tested positive for the virus, …prompting five schools in the city to close and switch to online classes until further notice.
