Two children in South Korea have recovered from a mysterious inflammatory condition that's believed to be linked to COVID-19.
Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children, or MIS-C, which was first reported in Europe last month and since spread to 13 countries around the world, was found in an 11-year-old and a four-year-old in Seoul on Tuesday.
However, Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced Wednesday that both are in good health and that the 11-year-old boy has been discharged from hospital.
Both children tested negative for COVID-19,... but will be checked again for antibodies to determine whether they were previously exposed to the virus.
