Gov't to increase unemployment benefits

The labor ministry has rolled out some changes affecting the work environment from October.
Unemployment benefits will be extended to nine months, a month longer than the current period.
The size of the benefits will also increase by ten percentage points so that it covers sixty percent of the worker's final salary, based on their last three months of work.
