Seoul presses Tokyo to engage in trade talks at RCEP meeting

South Korea held trade talks with Japan on the sidelines of a meeting in China on the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership.
Seoul's trade ministry said on Saturday that its senior trade representatives sat down with their Japanese counterparts on Friday when the meeting started.
They reportedly asked Tokyo to withdraw its export curbs and keep Seoul on its trade whitelist.
