Working-level officials of Seoul-Tokyo to discuss ongoing trade and historical dispute at their regular meeting on Thursday

Seoul's Director-general for Asian and Pacific affairs Kim Jung-han is to meet with his Japanese counterpart Kenji Kanasugi tomorrow,... to discuss pending issues between the two sides, including Japan's trade restrictions on Seoul.
While this is a regular meeting both sides have once every few months, it comes at a critical time when bilateral tensions are high.
The two diplomats will have a closed-door luncheon followed by their sitdown.
After that Kanasugi is also to have a meeting with his other counterpart on nuclear negotiations, Lee Do-hoon.
