An official from South Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs concluded a trip to the U.S. where bilateral talks on North Korea took place.
Rhee Dong-yeol, the Director-General for the Korean Peninsula Peace Regime Bureau, and a member of the South Korea-U.S. working group ended a three day trip to Washington on Tuesday.
Included in his agenda were talks on cross-border projects, such as a video reunion for war torn families and the provision of two-hundred-thousand doses of Tamiflu to the regime by South Korea.
The official said the two sides discussed other diplomatic issues, but easing international sanctions against Pyeongyang was not on the table.
Seoul and Washington are reportedly also working on fixing the next date for a face-to-face meeting of their bilateral working group.
