Seoul and Tokyo planning trade talks in November: S. Korean trade ministry
  • 4 years ago
South Korea is planning to hold another round of bilateral talks with Japan next month regarding Tokyo's export curbs on Seoul.
According to the trade ministry, if that meeting doesn't yield a solution to the dispute, Seoul will request the formation of a dispute settlement panel for the first hearing at the World Trade Organization.
The plan for talks with Japan was reportedly discussed in a meeting today of related government ministers presided over by Finance Minister Hong Nam-ki.
