South Korea held trade talks with Japan on the sidelines of a six-day meeting in China on the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership.
South Korea's trade ministry said on Saturday that its senior trade representatives talked with Japanese counterparts on Friday when the meeting started,... and asked Tokyo to withdraw its export curbs and keep Seoul on its trade whitelist.
South Korea said Japan should come to the table for talks to resolve the current trade row.
