N. Korea withdraws from inter-Korean liaison office at Gaeseong

North Korea withdrew from the inter-Korean liason office Friday after a sudden notice... six months after the joint office opened last September to foster close dialogue between the two Koreas.
The North did not give any details on why they decided to pull out,... and they didn't take any of their equipment or other items with them.
South Korea's unification ministry expressed regret Friday and held a meeting Saturday afternoon... to discuss the possible reasons behind the North's sudden pullout and to devise countermeasures.
25 South Korean officials showed up to the liaison office Saturday, double the usual number,... despite the absence of their North Korean counterparts.
