Inter-Korean liaison office to set open, allowing 24-hour contact between two Koreas

The inter-Korean liaison office, which allows 24/7 communication between South and North Korea,... opens today in the North Korean border town of Kaesong.
An inauguration ceremony will be held at 10:30am, Korea time.
More than 50 people from the South will attend,... including government officials, experts, and businesspeople.
The office will begin operating as soon as the ceremony ends.
It's one of the agreements reached during the April 27 inter-Korean summit,... to enhance communication and exchanges between the two Koreas, as well as reduce military tensions on the Peninsula.
