BMW is initiating another round of recalls in South Korea,... following the announcement of the final outcome of the joint investigation team comprising of experts from the private and public sectors.... that looked into what caused the engine fires.
The transport ministry said on Wednesday... that it has approved the immediate recall of 30-thousand cars in question.
It also explained an additional 80-thousand vehicles with changed parts will be reviewed to decide whether they will be recalled or not.
BMW says... it will inform drivers whose cars are subject to the recall via SMS and mail.
