BMW is initiating another round of recalls in South Korea,... following the announcement of the final outcome of the joint investigation team comprising of experts from the private and public sectors that looked into the cause of continued engine fires.
The transport ministry said Wednesday it has approved the immediate recall of 30-thousand cars in question.
It also explained an additional 80-thousand vehicles with changed parts will be reviewed to decide whether they will be recalled or not.
BMW says drivers whose cars are subject to the recall will receive SMS and mail notice.
