Defense chiefs of S. Korea and U.S. to hold talks in Seoul on Thursday

The top defense officials of South Korea and the United States are set for bilateral talks in Seoul on Thursday.
South Korea's defense ministry says Minister of National Defense Song Young-moo and his U.S. counterpart James Mattis will meet at 2PM, Korea time.
Mattis will be in Seoul on a whistle-stop one-day stay.
The two will discuss military cooperation between the allies and issues related to implementing agreements reached during the inter-Korean summit as well as the Pyongyang-Washington summit.
Song and Mattis are also expected to discuss plans to transfer wartime operational control from the U.S. to South Korean military forces.
