Chiefs of former defense cost sharing talks meet in Seoul on Tuesday to help prepare for next round

A meeting was held to prepare for the upcoming Seoul-Washington defense cost sharing negotiations.
According to the foreign ministry the chiefs of the former round of negotiations, Chang Won-sam... and Timothy Betts, held closed door talks in Seoul.
The two reportedly exchanged views on how to carry out the 11th round of the Special Measures Agreement Consultation and the overall situation on the matter.
The duo won't be involved in the next round of talks,... and new chief negotiators are said to be currently under review.
South Korea currently pays nearly 858-million U.S. dollars in 2019 alone.
The bilateral agreement is set to expire this year.
