The Welsh government have admitted making mistakes and not taking the rights of children after cancelling free school meals through the holidays. A trial was supposed to take place, but the Welsh government admitted wrongdoing before a trial was set. The Welsh government say there is still not money for holiday free school meals.

A Gwent police officer is being criminally investigated after being accused of falsifying his witness statement following a fatal car crash that killed three young people last year. 7 police officers in total have been served misconduct notices following the incident in St Mellons in March 2023.

Friday marked St David’s day in Wales, with hundreds of people around the country turning out for parades and events to mark our national day. It’s a celebration of Welsh culture and history, and a great opportunity to use the bits of Welsh you might have. Dydd Gwyl dewi Hapus pawb.
