Cardiff airport has been impacted by the knock on effects of an air traffic control issue across the UK. Passengers on flights in and out of the airport have been told to contact their airline in advance, while thousands of Welsh passengers are stranded in foreign airports across Europe.

A Pembrokeshire former army camp which has previously housed asylum seekers has been put up for sale. Penally Camp, near Tenby, was first used way back in the 1860s during the Crimean war, and is bigger than 100 football pitches. One councillor in the area hopes the site could be used for affordable housing.

A Welsh artist has been nominated for a UK-wide award and will be in the finals in Bridport later on this month. Sarah Jane Brown will display her artwork alongside a number of other artists from all over Britain, hoping to take home the £2500 top prize, as well as featuring on Christies international sellers website.
