A cross party Senedd committee has said the Welsh government should be given more powers over a post-Brexit funding scheme. Welsh labour has control of EU funding, but were given no involvement in the current 5 hundred and 80 5 million pound fund. The group say Westminster should work with minister in Cardiff more.

The Welsh government have said they want to see single use vapes outlawed across the country as part of plans to address young people vaping. The Welsh government do not currently hold the powers to ban products like vapes, but are calling on the UK government to take action.

Two community groups in Cardiff are aiming to take home a British-wide prize and become the UK project of the year. We are Hear, a project promoting arts within the deaf community and Cardiff Dragons FC, an LGBTQ+ football team are both on the shortlist for the £5,000 prize money.
