A 31 year old has been charged with attempted murder after an incident on North Road in Cardiff on Tuesday. A 54 year old man remains in a critical condition in the University Hospital Wales following the incident. An investigation is still underway and police are appealing for witnesses.

Energy bills in North Wales are the highest in the whole of the UK according to charity National Energy Action. Bills are set to change from April, which the charity say could put 7 and a half million people in energy poverty. Some estimations say energy bills for the poorest people on prepayment meters could rise by 40%.

700 jobs have been lost after a chicken processing plant has closed its doors for the last time. The 2 sisters plant at Llangefni has been in operation for 50 years, and a task force was set up in an attempt to keep the site open, but confirmed it would close earlier on this year.
