Whats on: St David’s Day celebrations across Wales
  • 2 months ago
Every year, plenty of people from across Wales march through the streets of Cardiff wearing traditional welsh outfits and singing Welsh language songs celebrating our history and showcasing our fascinating culture. There are also similar marches taking place across Wales in Aberystwyth, Wrexham, Carmarthen, Lampeter and Colwyn Bay.

Museums across the country will be celebrating our national day with special events for all the family. On March 2nd the national wool museum in the heart of Carmarthenshire will be hosting Gwyl Hwyl, and the waterfront museum will be throwing a St David’s Day mini party for the little ones.

For some evening entertainment, there will be concerts taking place across the country over the St David’s Day weekend, with events in Brecon, Swansea, Llangollen and even Shrewsbury just across the border, so wherever you are in Wales, there’s really no excuse to not celebrate our national day.
