What’s on Wales: Judgement day returns to Cardiff

Judgement day has been of the biggest days of the year for Welsh rugby, and it’s finally returned after three years off. The event features all four Welsh regions and fans get to watch both matches with the dragons and scarlets up first, followed by Cardiff and the Ospreys, as the teams look to take local bragging rights home against their rivals. Taking place on the 22nd April.

Aberystwyth welcomes the world of crime writing to the seaside, as authors and fans from inside Wales, the rest of the UK and around the globe. The festival hopes to promote rising Welsh stars in the crime scene, and help develop the talent on show. Taking place from the 21st to the 23rd April.

Macynlleth welcomes veteran and up and coming comedy acts from around Wales and the world, for its annual comedy festival. It’s now in its 11th year and features acts like Tudur Owen and Kiri Pritchard-McLean, as well as a host of names trying out something new, in this hidden gem festival. There are hundreds of shows taking place over the weekend across a number of venues, from the 28th to the 30th April.
