What’s on Wales: Cardiff Bay fun park, dino festival, and a hay bale castle
  • 9 months ago
The annual fairground in Cardiff bay, just outside the Millenium Centre is always a hit with anyone who comes down the bay this summer. There’s all the usual funfair attractions like dodgems, the waltzer and of course the giant ferris wheel, where you can get a look across the bay, and for miles into the city. It’s open every day throughout the summer holidays until 29th August.

Dinosaurs will take over Manorafon Farm Park in Abergele this summer as part of their summer festival. The site will host foam parties, sand play, music, and of course plenty of giant life like moving dinosaurs to keep the little ones entertained and engaged. With plenty going on throughout the summer, until the 2nd of September.

A giant straw castle will take centre stage at Chirk Castle’s summer of play this year, where the little ones can run, jump and climb across the hay bales. There are plenty of engaging activities to do within the walls of the adventure castle, with costumes, obstacle course and even fencing and archery depending on the day. Open throughout the summer until 3rd September.
