What’s On Wales: Easter holidays

The Easter holidays will take place right at the beginning of April until the weekend of the 17th, so we have a look at what we can be getting up to with the little ones all across Wales.

Museum’s across the country will be hosting events to get the kids involved in their local history, with special Easter egg hunts and different activities to be getting up to. All of the national museums, from the the roman legion museum in Caerleon to st Fagan’s will be involved, so wherever you are, you wont be far from some museum Easter fun. Taking place throughout half term.

National Trust Cymru are also getting involved in the Easter action with plenty of activities going on all around the country, from Conwy to Cardiff. There’s loads of events at National Trust Cymru sights, with Easter egg trails taking you around some of the landmarks and gardens dotted all around Wales, all the way through half term.

The Glynn Vivian Art Gallery in Swansea is hosting a special His Dark Materials exhibition showing props and costumes from the TV show. Celebrating the highly regarded programme, the exhibition shows some insight into how the world was created here in Wales, with special behind the scenes footage and concept art. Open now until the end of April.
