A vehicle parked in the deserted streets of downtown Nashville in the U.S. exploded early Christmas morning. Officials believe it was an intentional act.
According to the Associated Press, police were responding to a report of shots fired when they encountered the vehicle blaring a warning that a bomb would go off.
They evacuated nearby buildings and called in the bomb squad before the bomb exploded.
At least three people were taken to hospitals with non-critical injuries, and the blast also caused widespread communications outages.
