South Korea's foreign exchange reserves hit a fresh high in September,... breaking the record for the fourth consecutive month.
According to the Bank of Korea, reserves amounted to some four-hundred-21 billion U.S. dollars last month,...up around one-point-six billion dollars from August.
The central bank attributed the rise to the recent issuance of foreign exchange stabilization bonds as well as an increase in revenue from foreign currency assets.
As of the end of August, South Korea's FX reserves were the ninth largest in the world, with China topping the list.
