국내 코로나 확진자 114명, 일주일 만에 다시 세자릿수로 올라..

Our starting point tonight: South Korea's daily Covid-19 cases back up in the triple digits today at 114 after managing to keep it below one hundred for six straight days.
Health authorities are scrambling to contain sporadic cluster infections across the country after the long Chuseok holiday and ahead of another long weekend.
Kim Yeon-seung leads our coverage tonight.
The number of coronavirus cases in South Korea shoots back up with 1-hundred-14 cases reported on Wednesday.
This is the first time in a week that the number of new cases has hit triple-digits.
Health authorities suspect that the impact of the 5-day-long Chuseok holiday is finally showing in the domestic COVID-19 tally,... with over 30 million estimated to have traveled during the break.
"The special Chuseok virus prevention period will continue through this weekend, including October 9th, so we ask for your continued cooperation. It's necessary to carefully examine whether the number of new cases will rise more after the holiday, or if it's just a temporary blip due to increased testing."
But local infections remain below 100 for the 13th straight day.
The viral contagion continues to spread through medical facilities and door-to-door sales companies... with at least 30 cases from a rehabilitation hospital in Uijeongbu city, Gyeonggi-do Province, and at least 8 confirmed patients linked to door-to-door sales in the Yeongdeungpo-gu District of Seoul.
With another long weekend coming up, there are worries that cases could rise in
popular vacation spots like Jeju island, Busan, and Gangwon-do Province.
Jeju Tourism Association is expecting around 100-thousand people to visit the island
over the 3-day-long Hangeul-day weekend that starts this Friday.
Currently these areas are keeping entertainment facilities like bars and singing rooms closed and door-to-door sales banned to try and prevent any local outbreaks.
