South Korea's foreign exchange reserves hit record US$ 398.98 bil. in May

South Korea's foreign exchange reserves broke a new record for the third month in a row in May.
According to the Bank of Korea on Tuesday,… the total value of foreign exchange reserves reached more than three-hundred-98 billion U.S. dollars on the back of increased gains from investments in foreign assets.
The reserves were up five-hundred-60 million dollars from the previous month.
South Korea had the ninth highest amount of foreign exchange reserves in the world last month.
China continued to top the list with over three trillion dollars in FX reserves.
