S. Korea, int'l communities celebrate 1st 'International Day of Clean Air for blue skies'

Today, September 7th, South Korea and other countries are celebrating the first 'International Day of Clean Air for blue skies'.
Under the slogan of 'Clean Air for All',... the South Korean government is hosting an event this afternoon in Seoul,... which will be joined by 17 local governments from South Korea, China, Japan and Russia.
Other events will be held nationwide this week.
It will be also celebrated at the UN Headquarters in New York,... as well as at the UN Environment Programme in Nairobi.
The day was designated at the UN General Assembly last December,... proposed by South Korean President Moon Jae-in at the UN Climate Action Summit last September.
