Clean air to breath, cold air returns _ 011619

Good morning. Cold northwesterly airflow brought freezing air to the country but it has blown away all the dust in the air. We are seeing decent air quality. But bundle up on your way out, a cold wave advisory has been reissued in many areas.

Southern provinces are waking up to lows below minus 5 degrees, minus 7 degrees in Seoul, minus 6 degrees in Gwangju and Gyeongju. Biting winds are making things colder...making it feel like minus 14 degrees outside this morning.

Daily highs will be 3 to 4 degrees lower than yesterday, Seoul will only see the high reach minus 1 degrees, but fresh air will be with us throughout the day.

I know it's cold outside, but be sure to open the windows and let the fresh air in for a while because with a rise in temperatures expected for Thursday, it's likely we'll see another round of bad air in most areas.

That's Korea for you and here's the international weather for viewers around the world.
