Good afternoon. Air quality will improve in the capital area, but today toxic smog will continue to choke the southern parts of the nation. Chungcheong-do and Jeollabuk-do Provinces have been under thick layers of smog with an advisory issued this morning. But the air quality should improve a bit as we head into the evening.

The mercury might reach about 20 degrees Celsius but it will feel colder here in Seoul due to the cold winds, and temperatures will go down even further as we head toward the end of the week.

There'll be partly sunny skies all day with light rain expected on Jeju Island this afternoon.

Taking a closer look at today's temperatures, highs will range between 19 and 22 degrees Celsius. Seoul will get up to 20 degrees.

Temperatures are slightly cooler than they usually are around this time of year but entire nation should have better air tomorrow.

That's Korea for you and here's the international weather for viewers around the world.
