Good morning. I am Lee Jee-hyun with the latest weather update. Northern parts of Gyeonggi-do and Chungcheongbuk-do Provinces will have some bad air today while the capital area is forecast to have poor air quality on Tuesday.
We are expecting wide temperature differences again, daily highs will rise rapidly to near 20 degrees Celsius in most parts, with a temperature gap of over 10 degrees between highs and lows.
We won't see much of the sun today, there will be lots of clouds hovering over the peninsula with Jeju Island forecast to see some showers in the afternoon.
Today's highs will range between 18 and 21 degrees Celsius for most parts. Seoul, Daejeon, Daegu and Gwangju will get up to 19 degrees.
Light showers with less than 5 millimeters of rainfall are expected on the island while the capital area will see showers mid-morning tomorrow, before they spread a bit further south by the afternoon.
We'll see light but frequent showers this week, bringing some chilly air to the country, so we'll start to see much cooler temperatures next week.
