Good morning, cold weather has returned to most of Korea. We could feel the biting winds and much colder temperatures moving in to the country yesterday afternoon. This Christmas Eve will be bright but very cold with cold wave advisories issued in many upper regions. Dress extra warmly on your way out.

Checking on today's temperatures... right now the thermometer points at minus 5 degrees in Seoul, Daejeon and Chuncheon colder at minus 7 and minus 10 degrees.

Daily highs will be 5 to 7 degrees lower than yesterday, getting up to the single digits in most parts at 2 degrees in Seoul, 5 degrees in Daegu and Gwangju.

Temperatures will rise a bit on Christmas Day then starting Thursday we'll notice bone chilling temperatures to sweep the country.
