One out of three companies in South Korea has adopted remote working since the COVID-19 pandemic began, and over 70 percent of the workers are happy with working from home.
According to a survey of 300 local companies, released by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Tuesday, around 34 percent of businesses are currently allowing employees to work from home.
That's four times more than before the pandemic hit.
Over 70 percent of the workers are satisfied with such a system.
And more than half of the companies responded that work efficiency is almost the same as before.
